The authentic message of the gospel of grace is largely absent in the religious climate of the church world today. The gospel of grace is the proclamation that our God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit have come down to this world, dealt with sin once and for all and have reconciled us back to God. Sin has been dealt with and has been forgiven! That is the truth of the gospel! Our privilege is to proclaim that reality to the world and encourage them to simply believe it so that the objective reality of the finished work of Christ becomes a subjective reality in their own experience.
(Steve Mcvey)
If we believe in what Jesus has done we are set free from Sin and Religion! We don’t need to earn points for our father to love us. He has done everything, the thinking that cripples believers “God expects something” is a WRONG mindset that can just leave you, well... crippled!!!, because, think about it, even if you could give something how would it match up to what He has given you.. ?
When I say believers I mean those who are 1. powering in the Grace of God and also 2. those struggling under guilt and condemnation, people who love Jesus but are crippled at even the thought of attempting to jump through the hoops that Religions often set up for you. What I mean by religion is something that puts people into bondage and causes them to feel condemnation for not measuring up.
Often believers who experience “Religion in its full force” walk away from the Church/Community of believers thinking they have walked away from the Fathers love and acceptance... That isn’t the case!!! Some stay in that place and toil long and hard trying to "maintain" this love and relationship. If we believe in Jesus we can never be seperated from His love
Romans 8:38-39 proves this to us:
38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things yet to come, 39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Its true that what we believe about God we will manifest... For instance If we believe:
1. That we are separated from our fathers love because of Sin
2. That He is angry with us and that we need to earn and gain that trust again from Him
3. That He is only faithful to us when we are faithful to Him.
IF we Believe these things what are we going to Manifest? (side note... Manifest meaning: to make something evident by showing or demonstrating it very clearly)
Answer: You will live in confusion about the Love of God and the root of unbelief which is condemnation.
If you believe in Jesus Christ and All he has DONE, you can appropriate the promises of the New Covenant to your life and are now a Son and Daughter of the Most high. I don’t care what you think the problem is, you just need to start believing right.
Read these scriptures and believe them for yourself as a Believer and individual loved by the Father!
I am free forever from condemnation (Rom. 8:1)
I have been justified completely forgiven and made righteous (Rom. 5:1)
I died with Christ and died to the power of sin's rule over my life (Rom. 6:1,6)
I have been bought with a price I am not my own; I belong to God (I Cor. 6:19,20)
I have been made righteous (2 Cor. 5:21)
I have been redeemed and forgiven, and I am a recipient of His lavish grace.
I have been made alive together with Christ (Eph. 2:5)
I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins. The debt against me has been canceled (Col. 1:14)
I am firmly rooted in Christ and am now being built in Him (Col. 2:7)
I have been made complete in Christ (Col. 2:10)
I have the right to come boldly before the throne of God to find mercy and grace in time of need (Heb. 4:16)
I have been given exceedingly great and precious promises by God by which I am a partaker of God's divine nature (2 Pet. 1:4)
It doesn’t take FAITH to proclaim “Im a sinner” We knew it/know it.. It takes FAITH to confess these above mentioned scriptures and believe them for yourself!!!
Much love and Grace
